Blackberry Coulis

I tried the Blackberry Coulis from, and loved it. I did, however, end up making some slight modifications, for an even better drink. 



  • 2 oz blackberry coulis
  • 3 – 4 oz dark rum, I used El Darado for its silky finish and  hint of coffee, which goes well with blackberry coulis
  • 1 oz blackberry liqueur
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • Soda water to add fizz as the last step

The modification I did was to add less Demerara sugar in the coulis and a bit more lime juice. I used blackberry liqueur instead of Chambord. The result is a not too sweet, velvety summery drink. Enjoy!
